Lake Somerset is a couple of kms to the East. Hint of green...

I like to include the section between Somerset Dam and Kilcoy when out and about putting around on the bike. It’s twisty and bumpy in spots but it’s fun with some great vistas.

A lap can take Mt Mee, Mt Glorious and a fave, Split Yard Creek to Fernvale. All great places for a coffee etc too.

Pine River Bridge, Murrumba Downs, Qld

Underneath the bridge over the Pine River at the start of the Bruce Hwy.

The bridge is about 500m down stream of the junction of the North and South Pine Rivers.

A sight to behold when in flood...
