The Town of 1770 is gorgeous. Relaxing. The pub and the caravan park wee excellent. The local bowls club had a Friday night barbie. The LARC is a lark.

The area has heaps to offer. The tour on the LARC, an amphibious craft, is a highlight. The Captain Cook Caravan Park is brilliant. The lawn bowls club has a fantastic Friday night BBQ. The surfing lessons are awesome.
Agnes Waters has the most northerly recognised surf beach on the eastern seaboard. To the south, between Agnes Waters and Bundaberg, turtles nest.
